The team in the real estate law department, coordinated by Luís Almeida Carneiro, has extensive experience in the area of real estate law, having followed the developments in the sector over the last decade. The high level of expertise of the team members allows them to constantly adapt to new realities and requests made by their national and international clients operating in this area of activity.
The development of a real estate project is a complex and multidisciplinary process that involves several aspects – from the design and analysis required for the acquisition of properties, to financing, construction, leasing and sale, with each project being monitored by a multidisciplinary team made up of members from the areas of civil law and tax law, which may also include members from other areas, namely project finance and corporate law, depending on the specificities of each case.
The real estate team advises its Clients on all types of business, including cross-border, and at all stages, increasing their efficiency and value.

- Real estate investment operations, mergers and acquisitions and respective due diligences;
- Tourism investment operations, monitoring the installation, exploration and operation of tourist enterprises
- Taxation on real estate assets;
- Preparation and negotiation of real estate contracts;
- Real estate financing operations and respective guarantees.
- Litigation: Disputes related to construction contracts, disputes relating to contracts for the use and management of real estate and disputes between landlords and tenants and interpretation of clauses in lease contracts.
