Professional Experience

Between 1993 and 2005, he worked as a Tax Consultant at KPMG & Associados – SROC, SA. In 2001, he took on the role of Manager of the Tax Consulting Department.

Practice Areas

Ricardo’s work consists of providing tax advice to both individual investors and companies. He has worked in the area of ​​income tax and social security, namely in supporting non-habitual residents, analyzing remuneration and its taxation, posted workers, tax benefits, jurisdictional conflicts, application of Double Taxation Treaties, among others.
In addition, he has dedicated himself to the area of ​​tax litigation, through support in administrative, judicial and arbitration proceedings, with a wide range of substantive issues.

Academic Qualifications

He completed his degree in 1992 (Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon), a Postgraduate degree in European Studies in 1993 (Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon) and attended the 1st Postgraduate course in Management and Business Law in 2003 (Executive Training Institute, FEUNL).
He also completed the advanced postgraduate course in taxation promoted by IDEFF (Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law of the Faculty of Law of Lisbon) in 2009.
